About the Department

The Communications Department of the Velocity Interoperability Network is responsible for the allocation of Network channels and spectrum, the licensing of equipment that transmits on those channels, and the operation of the public broadcasting service through which the Velocity Interoperability Network and its departments make official announcements.

The Department was established on 6 September 2026. The register of allocations, the licensing procedures and the schedule of the public broadcasting service will be published on this site as they are put in place.
